God made you for a purpose and you have your own special venture that you must fulfil while you are here on earth. Your journey was mapped before you were even formed, so nothing about you is a mistake. Your character, your being fits exactly into the plan and the purpose that God has for you. If you know that God has a special plan or journey mapped for just you, you will stop comparing and envying the person next to you, for their success and achievements.
I cannot dispute that it’s very easy to just find people envying others, but you don’t know what they went through to get to where they are, or to achieve what they have achieved. It is good to aspire to have something or to be at the level where you see others. This can provide you with inspiration to work harder and to press-on, to right where God has placed you, but do not put unnecessary pressure on yourself.
Other people’s journeys and yours are two different things and the chances are that once you find yours, you’ll say that you’d rather be where you are; as nothing comes easily and without challenges. Remember that our destiny will always be challenged.
The devil will try to derail you from your destiny by bringing trials and tribulations, but none of it is made to kill or destroy you, instead, allow yourself to learn from it and let it shape you and your character for the journey ahead.
From the things that I have suffered – I realised that those things were only preparing me for my purpose. You cannot fulfil your destiny if you cannot fully comprehend what it entails. This can only be achieved by going through similar experiences. It will not be easy, but at the end of it all it will be worthwhile. Every challenge is an experience.
If you’re not sure of your purpose or you don’t understand why you’re going through everything that you’re going through, enquire from God. The moment you start enquiring about your purpose you’ll find that there will be progress in your life – progress in such a way that you’ll understand your reason for being and start working towards what fulfils you – even if it doesn’t give you money at first, but you will find fulfilment in knowing that you’re fulfilling your purpose.
