How? You may ask.
On a daily, we go through so many things that leave us feeling worthless, resentful, broken, and hopeless. These things are bound to alter our nature, whether we like it or not. Knowingly or unknowingly.
In all honesty, when you’re not at your best, you cannot function optimally. It will affect your relationships, parenting, decision-making, and the way you see yourself.

Now that calls for you to declutter!
Empty yourself of everything that does not serve you. Everything that does not add value to your life. It may even trace back to your childhood experiences and traumas.

Who are you grudging? What has changed you or redefined your now view of life?
Experience taught me that holding on to anger and grudging is not any different from grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it to someone else without getting burnt. Grudging affects you more than it does to the next person. It forces you to relive the unfavorable moments over and over again.
Every time you think or encounter the person, it feels fresh because you hold on to it.
Sis, if it hurts you, it doesn’t serve you!

Now, breathe. Let go of everything that hurts you.
Forgive everyone that has hurt you. However, forgiveness begins with you. Forgive yourself for allowing others to hurt you. And also, think of how you want those you’ve hurt, unintentionally or even intentionally, to treat you or handle the situation and do exactly that. We all know it is easy to be hard on others when we also wrong others. As much it is difficult to forgive, more so when you have been deeply hurt. Forgiving is not just for others, but it is for yourself. So, free yourself.

Repurpose to start your life on a clean, hurt, and grudge-free slate. Pray about it. Of course, there’s nothing too hard for God. He will grant you peace. And once you’ve let go and forgiven, you’ll feel lighter and happier.
